Change of Management Review

If your credit union has experienced a change in management personnel, the CUACG can the following change in management review procedures:

  • Review selected general ledger accounts and related reconciliations for timely completion, unusual activity, and stale dated items.
  • Obtain a listing of keys, locks, alarm code and combination revision records (not the actual codes, just the documentation supporting whether these are set to be revised) subsequent to the termination date of the current management/accounting staff.
  • Review the statement activity for 2019 to date for all accounts held at the Credit Union (whether individually or jointly) for the current management/accounting staff for whom notice of resignation has been provided.
  • A review of negative balance accounts for proper handling as of the review date as well as compliance with the Credit Union’s established relevant policy.
  • A review of previously dormant (inactive) accounts rendered active for a selection of dates during 2019 to date.
  • A review of all charges to the Credit Union’s corporate credit card(s) or business-type expenditures incurred by the current management/accounting staff for whom notice of resignation has been provided, if applicable.
  • A listing of all duties/responsibilities reviewed relevant to the position(s) of the current management staff for who notice of resignation has been provided to determine potential additional areas for review.
